Sadly, for me, or not? I pretty much assume a no, thank you, and move on, then I'm pleasantly surprised if I hear otherwise. Maybe I've just been beaten down. Har, har. I don't think I have your organizational skills, so that probably doesn't help me either. In any case, good luck! And stay strong :)
Great article with a catchy/applicable photo. I too used to suffer from the waiting trauma. I love the subscription you mentioned as a tracker and way to manage things. Thank you for sharing!
I’m an impatient person, but after receiving so many rejections, I’ve somehow developed a submit-and-forget about it mindset lol. Thanks for this post!
I agree about the anxiety of the wait--and things are definitely stacked against writers in this regard, at every level of publication. Sending good thoughts to you, though. I hope you get good news soon!
I one million bajillion percent relate to this so much!! Currently waiting for a response to two memoir excerpt contests that I entered back in JANUARY. According to websites I should hear something this month, they hope 🫠 And so.. I wait and try to forget that I'm waiting, which is impossible.
Fingers and toes crossed that you hear something soon!! And that it's the best news!! ♥️
Yes! It was somewhat comforting to read the study in law students and discover that there is nothing I can really do about the anxiety, so might as well check my inbox again. The melt-face emoji says it all!

Love this. I think all of us can relate. And I’m thrilled to learn that being neurotic is a good thing! 😁

Sure! Duotrope is so useful but also not intuitive
Let’s go! I’m pulling for you 💯

I hear ya! That sounds healthy, though.
We are now all waiting anxiously with you!
🙏🏻 So ready to rip the band-aid off!
