I love this idea of "values-based goals". People THINK they're doing these types of goal-setting, but I'm not entirely convinced. I also like setting up actions to help you feel in control -- this reminds me of intentions, which has become popular in recent years in lieu of New Year's Resolutions.

I love everything about this - and I always hated SMART goals and also KPIs. I can’t wait to look into better aligning my own values as I transition after job loss yet again.

I’m a big fan of periodic value checking and will have to check out the LVI. It’s also nice to do them as a family because it helps everyone to see that we don’t all prize the same things and to build respect for differences.

If you want to do some outdoor exploration, let me know! I’m pretty much down to do anything outdoorsy at any time.

Yay! I know a great hidden spot in South Austin when the bluebonnets pop up. We'll have to do a "coffee meet-up" there!

This makes a lot of sense to me! I love my Panda planner and am also allergic to SMART goals. The more I learn about myself and how I want to show up in the world, the more I realize that getting what I want out of life is a lot more about changing my mindset than about seeking measurable outcomes.

Yup, another reminder to do the goal setting work. Funny how I make goals, achieve them, and then forget to make new ones and then feel listless. Literally list-less. Off to make one.
